Still not much fishing, yet.
Fishing has been slow for me still. I did get over to Allen and found that the trout are few and far between in that pond. We fished for about an hour and a half to maybe two hours with little success. I did find a couple of hungry little black bass in the grass there. But no trout were caught this time.
It looks like I will make a trip somewhere tomorrow, not sure where yet, but I will fish some tomorrow. I might head to Athens and go to the TFFC and catch some stockers, or maybe Tishomingo. I might even suck it up and drive to Broken Bow, but I don't know yet. We will find out tomorrow.
I didn't get pictures Sunday, but I will include a couple from some previous trips. Now February is a different story on fishing. There will be plenty of fishing in February; I have 2 pickerel trips planned with Woodruff Guide Service, a trip to broken Bow for an entomology class with Rob Woodruff and probably another trip in there just for good measure. It will be a busy month for me, but I would fish everyday if I could.
Also I need to get back to practicing for my future CCI certification test. I am not sure when I can take it but I would like to have passed it before I get to Steamboat next year. I think I can pass it, but want to make sure I am ready before taking the time to test. Again, we will see.
