Things I Love

If anyone has followed this blog they know that I have shifted the direction of this one to general bikedog stuff. My new fishing blog is at Smells Fishy Here, check it out.

Now let's talk about things I love.

Knickers for riding bicycles, they rock!! Not full tights but not shorts either. Thermafleece lined and perfect for almost any day of riding your bike in DFW.

How about nice warm gloves, again a great piece for riding in DFW. Especially if you are like me and have hands that freeze instantly.

How about the feeling of finishing that thing, however difficult, that you weren't sure you could. That's a good feeling.

Fishing? How about a cast that lays out smooth and pretty; and thankfully right where you aimed it. Plus the bonus of getting that sick drift that you only see in videos of the fly fishing gods.

Or the feel of a great drift that ends with the tug of the fish you "knew" was there. Bonus is getting him to hand, while your fishing buddies are there to see!!

Maybe finishing that long day to come home and find your house is just where you want to be and it is exactly how you want it. That's pretty darn fine!

Finally there is the best, falling asleep in the arms of the one you love and adore. That is the balls!! It is the best feeling and you can consider yourself super lucky to find it every day, I am! Bonus is waking up tucked in with that one person you adore on a nice quiet morning. I get that with the fabulous Boo here in my world.
